This new OneLight*® Authors & Creations website is, like the former one, totally bilingual, so all our pages and contents are still available both in English and in Portuguese, but we have introduced several changes to our layout, the major one being this very homepage.

No longer a static one, because life is all but that, this FRONT PAGE will reflect, as much as possible (without becoming a “reality show”, though!) not only the motion, the evolution, and the transformations that are the essence of being and of creation, but also, the most important stage in this incessant progression: the “Here and Now”.

So, here are some of the most relevant things going on (among, of course, many others) in the OneLight*® Authors & Creations’ “Here and Now”:

* Joseph’s newest book, “THE LEGEND OF ALBION”, published by BookSurge, has just been released, and is now available at several online bookstores, such as Amazon (U.S.A., United Kingdom, France, Germany and Japan), among others. The book looks magnificent, the enthralling story of young King Albion, told in the simultaneously classical and innovative form of an epic poem, enlivened by Gianetta Ellis’s beautiful illustrations – a combination that will certainly appeal to its target audience of young discerning readers.

* So, Joseph has been busy promoting this exciting book which, being his first literary work for children, certainly has all the necessary ingredients to make it enjoyable for readers of all ages!

* As for Alexandra, “a woman of many facets that include the many facets of an author”, her “Here and Now” has certainly been a reflection of that multi-faceted nature. As an author, she has been focusing on the compilation of her writings in Portuguese (her maternal language), which she is now featuring, along with some of her art, in a constantly updated new website / blog – Caderno de Exercícios & Outras Facetas em Movimento (“Exercise Notebook & Other Facets in Motion”) . This website is, of course, totally in Portuguese. On the other hand, occasionally, she has also been adding some new works (in English) to her page in AuthorsDen.

* But her “many other facets” have also been filling her “Here and Now” with a multitude of other activities and interests. You can get a glimpse of some of them in the recently created Quinta da Lage (Q. L. Portugal) website (totally bilingual), that portrays life and work among vineyards, horses, orchards and gardens, at a farm in Northern Portugal, with a touch of History.

* Among such “facets” being the one of a Nature and animal lover as well, Alexandra has also been busy promoting a Portuguese private association with a mission very dear to her heart: the rescue and protection of abandoned and/or abused pets, and, whenever possible, their integration in new, secure homes, that will ensure the quality of life they so deserve. The name of this association is the same of the estate where it operates, as well as the one of its brand new website, which Alexandra is honored to manage, as part of her active collaboration in this venture: Parque da Terra Nova. (Although the website is in Portuguese, it is worth checking out, for it is packed with wonderful photos of pets whose stories Alexandra will be happy to translate for you!)

Não mais uma página estática, porque a vida é tudo menos isso, esta PRIMEIRA PÁGINA reflectirá, tanto quanto possível (sem se tornar, contudo, num “reality show”!), não só o movimento, a evolução, e as transformações que são a essência do ser e da criação, como também o estágio mais importante dessa contínua progressão: O “Aqui e Agora”.

Passamos, pois, a dar-lhe conta do que de mais relevante acontece (entre muitas outras coisas) no “Aqui e Agora” de OneLight*® Authors & Creations:

* O mais recente livro do Joseph, “THE LEGEND OF ALBION”, publicado pela editora BookSurge, acaba de ser lançado e encontra-se já disponível para venda em diversas livrarias virtuais, tais como a Amazon (E.U.A., Reino Unido, Alemanha, França e Japão), entre outras. A edição é magnífica, e a fascinante história do jovem Rei Albion, contada na forma simultaneamente clássica e inovadora de poema épico e realçada pelas belas ilustrações de Gianetta Ellis, cativará certamente o público de jovens leitores ao qual se dirige.
